user friendly

just listened to jef raskin speak.  he invented the apple macintosh and stuff we do on the computer everyday (like click-and-drag).  neato.
 
interesting tidbit: interfaces that rely on time don't work.  people have different perceptions of time, particularly in hectic situations.
 
listening to him reminds me of my old cs147 human computer interaction days.
