welcome

hello.  i've decided to start blogging.  why?
-it's a chance for me to learn more about another google product
-i now have a forum to share my very one-sided movie and restaurant reviews
-grace is out of town.  i'm bored

i presume i'm also curious to see if i have the discipline and interest to keep this thing updated...
