restaurant review: l'amour dans le four

since grace lives to the marina now, we've started exploring restaurants within walkable distance from her place.  jaime had a great suggestion: l'amour dans le four at lombard and gough.
 
it's a quaint, intimate french restaurant that has a friendly, neighborly feel.  i found the food wonderfully simple, traditional and filled with home cooked goodness.  definitely try the garlic and brie appetizer: oven-warmed brie and garlic spread over toasted bread.  tasty.
 
menu changes weekly.  apparently there's a 3 course prix fixe for $14 before 7pm.

i suggest going when you're hoping to enjoy a long meal in an intimate space with good company =)
 
also let me know if have a good marina sushi recommendation.
(by "good" i mean not a pseudo-hipster joint playing bad trance filled with yuppies drinking bad sake...)
