dreamworks ipo

dreamworks skg (thats spielberg, geffen, katzenberg in case you were wondering) is planning to ipo its animation division for as much as $650mm.  sure they made shrek, but lets not forget ants and the upcoming shark tale.
 
"use of proceeds to increase film production and improve competitive position with disney and pixar". 
 
translation:  we need the scratch so that we can do a better job at copying the competition
