i read about the yellow arrow project in wired recently and had to spread the word since i think it's such a cool idea.

the premise is simple: pick up some arrows, stick them on places you find meaningful and use your mobile to send a SMS with your message to point@yellowarrow.org.

each arrow has a unique id number. so when you stumble across one all you have to do is SMS the id and the author's original message will be delivered to your phone. people are using them for anything from restaurant reviews and urban poetry to scavenger hunt clues.
