mobile utility

i traded-in my old blackberry at work for the new 8700c. it uses cingular's high-speed EDGE network. with EDGE i was able to download & install google local for mobile, run the app and find a restaurant all within a couple minutes...pretty impressive. mobile web browsing is also more than bearable. high speed data + email + calendar + easy contact sync + great mobile apps like google local & google talk = some real mobile utility (finally). i'm considering changing it into my primary phone...but a part of me doesn't want to be THAT connected to work 24/7. instead i'll probably get a new phone when helio launches this spring.
