tivo / netflix partnership official
the much speculated partnership between tivo and netflix is now official. netflix will be supplying a movie download service to tivo boxes, with netflix taking the burden of dealing with the messy movie studio contracts. yes VOD will be here much earlier than expected. might be time to ask for a tivo for christmas.

There was a deal on their website where you could get a 40 hour Tivo for 99 bucks or an 80 hour for 200. Not sure if it's still going but check it out if you're itnerested. Will the old Tivo's work with the new VOD service?
